ation, and Variation in Early Medieval English Literature,' a two-day co
nference at the University of Toronto (11-12 May 2026), brings together a
n international group of scholars to discuss new research on the dissemina
tion and transformation of knowledge in England between the years 700 and
1100.  This conference will reconsider the networks of influence in which
early English writers participated, and it demands a revaluation of the s
ources, literary forms, and practices of learning and writing that infor
m the textual record. \nSpeakers will share new perspectives for evaluatin

transnational and culturally diverse.Visit the event webpage for complete
