WIMS - Work In Medieval Studies - Forum
When and Where
Description
Calling all medievalists,
Happy Friday! I’m pleased to announce that WIMS is back for the 2025/26 school year. If you don’t know already, WIMS ("Work in Medieval Studies”) is an excellent forum to share your research and works-in-progress in a relaxed, low-pressure environment. This is for students, by students. Often, our presenters use WIMS to practice for a conference they plan to attend, but others simply want to discuss their research and get feedback from their peers. I encourage you all to sign up to present! (Or, if not, come to watch your peers present, and savour some delicious snacks.) Our first session will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd, at 4 PM.
If you have any questions, please write me at s.macphee@mail.utoronto.ca.
By the way, this opportunity is open to ALL graduate students researching the Middle Ages from across U of T, not just those of us at CMS. So, if you have medievalist friends in other departments, please pass this on to them!
Sincerely,
Samuel MacPhee
Representing the WIMS Committee, 2025-26
