Congratulations to Zinaida Uzdenskaya who successfully defended her dissertation titled "Portable objects, travelling subjects: The development of the Iconography of canterbury pilgrim souvenirs in comparison to St. Thomas Becket’s imagery in other media 1170–1538" on February 3. Thank you to Zina's Supervisor, Jill Caskey, and Committee Members, Adam Cohen and Michael Gervers, as well as appraisers, Isabelle Cochelin and Kathryne Bebe (University of North Texas).
During Zina's time at CMS, she studied medieval pilgrimage and sacred images, presenting papers at conferences such as IMC Leeds and the Cologne Toronto Graduate Student Colloquium.
Congratulations, Doctor Uzdenskaya!
