Walker Horsfall Wins Chancellor Jackman Fellowship

Walker Horsfall, a PhD candidate working on German literature at CMS, has just been awarded a prestigious Chancellor Jackman Graduate Fellowship!

Walker is one of three University of Toronto graduate students to receive the fellowship for 2021. This year’s fellowship theme, “pleasure,” covers topics ranging from fourteenth-century philosophical poetry to twentieth-century gardens in Vienna.

Walker’s topic is “Science and Natural Philosophy in the Poetry of Heinrich von Meissen (Frauenlob).” A detailed description is featured on the full news release on the Jackman Humanities website.
