Deferring Payment
Students who have been awarded a University of Toronto Fellowship or an external award (FQRSC, OGS, SSHRC, etc.) may arrange to temporarily defer payment. Students who fail to register by the deadline set by the School of Graduate Studies will be charged a late registration fee.
Students who receive any scholarship funding must be registered full-time in the summer for a minimum of 14 weeks on-campus between 1 May and 31 August to be eligible for the summer instalment.
Fellowship support is usually unavailable at the MA level, but CMS offers various awards and applicants should contact us for more details. Students are also strongly encouraged to apply for external funding and scholarships.
