Description

This poster exhibition will present a series of case studies that reveal the complexities and varieties of medieval sexualities and genders by highlighting medieval people whose lives exhibited qualities or activities that reflect aspects of trans* identities. The academic posters open a space for the Trans* Middle Ages by examining medieval trans* individuals and how they have been understood and misunderstood. This is the capstone research project of the students in MST340 Medieval Sexualities and Genders.
