Simona Vucu (CMS 2017), who is now a PIMS-Mellon fellow, has been awarded an Essay Award by the Canadian Philosophical Association. According to the ACPCPA press release, she won in the category of "Non-tenured Professor, Lecturer, Sessional", and her essay is entitled "Causal Powers as Accidents: Thomas Aquinas’s view."
