The Centre for Renaissance and Reformation Studies is hosting a conference titled "Worlds of Conflict: Violence in the Early Modern World" from September 21-23, 2023.
The conference organizing team is looking for a part-time conference assistant to handle some administrative work such as corresponding with speakers, communicating promotional material, liaising with on-campus Events teams or other venues, preparing documents, and assisting during conference hours. Must be able to take initiative and work independently.

Job Details:
Start Immediately
2-5 hours a day leading up to the conference
Full availability, during the conference, on September 22-23 (Friday and Saturday)
Approximately 25 hours in total
Compensation:
$28.57/hr. plus 4% vacation pay
Duties:
Coordinating with conference co-organizers to assist them with the logistics of the conference
Coordinating with U of T hospitality teams
Coordinate with the IT team
Assist with running Zoom sessions
Liaising with speakers
Assisting at the conference
